The Würzburg Christmas Market is one of Bavaria’s most enchanting holiday experiences. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Baroque architecture of the Falkenhaus and the historic Marienkapelle, this market combines festive cheer with centuries-old tradition.

November 29 to December 24, 2024

As you wander through the twinkling stalls, you’ll find a delightful array of handcrafted gifts, from wooden toys and ornaments to candles and unique pieces of local art. The scent of roasted chestnuts, freshly baked gingerbread, and sizzling bratwurst fills the air, and you won’t want to miss warming up with a cup of Glühwein (mulled wine) or the local favorite, Franconian wine.

The Würzburg Christmas Market is more than just a place to shop—it’s an immersive holiday experience. Throughout the market, you’ll find live music, traditional performances, and opportunities for children to enjoy festive activities, such as visiting Santa Claus or riding the beautifully lit carousel.

Open from late November through December, the Würzburg Christmas Market invites you to experience the magic of the season in one of Germany’s most picturesque cities.
